Accounts & Finance Manager, Property & Estate Agents

We're looking for an Accounts & Finance Manager to join our property client in South London. This is an office based role.

The client is a firm of established property consultants, developers and estate agents. The firm has a growing branch network of residential sales, lettings and managed lettings in the South London area. They are ambitious and have impressive growth plans.

This is a great opportunity to add some change and transformation project work, and advisory, to your day-to-day finance duties. The Finance Manager will report directly to the directors. As the business grows, the scope of the job will grow as well (and the rewards).

The role requires experience of lettings and rentals agency finance and accounts (essential), as well as systems experience (including all or some of) Sage, Reapit and CFP Software. Good Excel skills are necessary.

You will have experience of compiling monthly accounts and financial reports, cash flow forecasts and ad-hoc board packs, as well as preparing and running monthly payroll (our client has c80 full time staff). These are essential.

You'll be managing two accounts assistants who run the day-to-day ledgers and collections etc, so previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Your qualifications could be AAT (Level 3 or higher), or a Finance or Business Degree (or equivalent).

Although our client is in the private sector, we can consider applications from finance professionals from housing associations and local authorities, if you have the experience above (including payroll).
